Operation 9 – AIC Kathonzweni Children’s Home, Makueni

AIC Kathonzweni Children Home

Founded in 1979, the AIC Kathonzweni Children’s Home has been providing a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children in the Makueni County area for over four decades. As of now, it is home to 44 children, comprising 30 children aged between 4 and 9 years, and 14 children aged between 10 and 18 years.

Kathonzweni Children’s Home has a nice garden for the children to play in, but is lacking good outdoor equipment. A playground would be very much enjoyed by all the children!
