Koimbi Children’s Home

• Established in 1978, Koimbi Children’s Home is situated in Wangu Ward, Murang’a County, on a piece of land that holds historical significance as the former office of a notable female Agikuyu administrator during the colonial era. It is home to 52 children with the age range spanning from 4 to 18 years old. The majority of the children fall between the ages of 4 and 14, and the home is dedicated to providing a caring and supportive atmosphere for all. There is currently no play structure at the home and the children deserve to have access to a safe and stimulating play area that can foster their physical and emotional development.
