Operation 6 – St. Nicholas Children’s Home, Nakuru
  • St. Nicholas Children’s Home is a charitable organization located in Nakuru, Kenya. It was established in 1993 by the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru to provide care and support toorphaned and vulnerable children in the region. The home is named after St. Nicholas, the patron saint of children, and it aims to uphold his values of compassion, kindness, and generosity towards children. St. Nicholas Children’s Home currently caters to 30 children between the age of 6 and 18 years and is run by a team of dedicated caregivers who work towards the well-being of the children. While the home has enough space for children to play tag and football with a makeshift ball, they don’t have any play equipment that would contribute to their physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.
