Makimei Children’s Home

Makimei Children’s Home, Kikuyu, is a sanctuary for vulnerable children. The home provides a nurturing environment for approximately 100 children, where 54 of the children are between the age of 3 and 12. Operating primarily on support from donors, the home ensures the children have access to essential care, safety, and nutrition. However, the facility currently lacks a play area, which is crucial for the children’s holistic growth.

A well-designed and secure play structure would greatly contribute to their physical and emotional development, giving them a chance to enjoy childhood and thrive in a stimulating environment.
